Brad and I ran the Air Force Half Marathon once again this year. The races take place on the Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. When our friends, Mark and Bridgette, asked us to come watch them dance at the annual USA Dance Showcase Bluegrass Chapter, we were excited to actually have something fun to do for date night! I can’t believe my baby turned sixteen this year! But, once again, Merinda was sick on her birthday, so this was the best smile we could get. And once again she requested strawberry cake with homemade cream cheese frosting. Only this time I changed things up a bit and put strawberries and cream in the middle.
