Ark Encounter
After we returned from Florida, Brad’s father Victor, and his wife Virginia, came for a little visit. Virginia brought her harp, which she gifted to Aubrey, and Victor brought Merinda’s hope chest that he made for her. We also took Victor & Virginia to the Ark Encounter, which is less than an hour from our house, and includes a life-size replica of Noah’s Ark, and theme park complete with restaurants, two visitor centers, numerous gift/book stores, a petting zoo, zip-lines…
Spring Break
When we asked the girls if they wanted to do anything for Spring Break this year they unanimously chose the beach. I, however, did not take them too seriously, until they both got that week off from work. We chose to go to Destin, FL since it was the closest beach, but little did we know that we chose the worst week ever! It was stop-and-go traffic driving there, and coming home.
