We spent General Conference weekend visiting our good friends, the Masseys, in Indianapolis, IN. It was so nice watching all the sessions of General Conference with Rick & Alisa, who were the best hosts ever! For dinner one night they made one of our favorite Japanese meals, Okonomiyaki Yakisoba!! (I told Merinda she wouldn’t have to be in the pictures if she would take it). Other September happenings included… dressing up in an authentic Chilean dress in celebration of Chile’s Independence Day (the things I do for my kids i.e. Aubrey!), attending Merinda’s high school Fall choral concert, and catching up with my nursing buddies Donna and Linda. Interesting September sightings were a hot air balloon on our drive to the Temple, four wild turkeys on my morning run (blending in on the right), and a burning truck in front of the high school.
