This past weekend, Brad and I made a quick trip to West Virginia to visit Breck, Iris, Camila, and Mancha. It had only been a couple of weeks since the kids had visited us in Kentucky. During our visit, we were excited to witness Breck’s new role as the second counselor in his Ward’s Bishopric. We left straight after work on Friday and stayed until Sunday so Brad could ordain Breck as a High Priest. Interestingly, Brad’s father flew all the way from Idaho to Kentucky years ago to ordain Brad when he himself was called to the Bishopric. It was a deeply meaningful experience for us, and we wouldn’t have missed it for anything. Plus, it was a perfect excuse to spend more quality time with the kids!
