It was nice celebrating Merinda's birthday at home this year since she moved back to Kentucky!

You can tell that she is a reall adult now because she had her whole birthday planned out...

One of those things was a little photo shoot in the backyard with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.

Another birthday wish of hers was making and decorating a pretty strawberry chocolate cake with her momma...

I think we did a pretty darn good job! And it tasted just as good as it looked!

We then made her favorite meal and had Aubrey, Raul and Claire come over for dinner and the blowing out of candles!

All of us a little hyped-up on birthday cake!

But a good time was had by all!

A week later we celebrated Aubrey's birthday! We celebrated it early since she will be in Chile on her actual birthday.

Aubrey chose pistachio pudding dessert instead of birthday cake and you didn't hear any of us complaining! Claire getting in on the action once again! One of these days she'll figure out this whole birthday thing!
