Aubrey took these pictures of Claire in her birthday hat and tutu a couple days before her birthday knowing that she probably wouldn't be in the mood for a photo session on her actual birthday (which was totally the case).

Later that day, Claire got a hold of the kitchen towel that was hanging on the oven, and just had a ball with it! Who knew a kitchen towel could be so entertaining?!

A couple days later on Claire's actual birthday, we celebrated with balloons, presents, and a special little cake just for her. Unfortunately, Brad was out of town, but I was able to spend the day with Claire, and I truly enjoyed every moment of it!

Once Daddy was off of work we ate dinner together, and got ready to sing and blow out candles. As you can see, Claire was not really in the mood for any of it, not even with her emotional support toy she held in her hand.

She was not doing the birthday hat thing...

nor the blowing out of he candle!

Luckily, she did like eating her angel food cake (with her emotional support toy still in hand) with pudding and berries!

After getting all washed up and her jammies on, she had enough sugar on board to enjoy the gift-opening part of her birthday😅

In additon to her new kitchen, she got a farm set and school bus with all interchangeable animals and people.

She had a great time playing with all her new toys!

Aubrey and I enjoyed playing with our crazy girl until she worked out all sugar running through her veins!

Before going to bed, we read and sang together from a bedtime book she got from Brittney...the perfect ending to an almost perfect birthday!

The following Sunday Claire wore her new little duck tutu (she got from Holts) to church! She truly was her Momma's child in that darling outfit!
