While the kids were visiting we took the babies to Cave Run Lake. It was Camila's very first time swimming and she had a good time splashing around in the water, but she had just as much fun playing with her feet on the picnic blanket, under the shade of a big tree. Claire is used to being in the water but a mountainous lake is quite different from a swimming pool, and apparently a bit more exhausting! Cave Run Lake really is the best place for little swimmers because it's not too crowded, has a nice beach, and the water temperature is super warm! Aubrey and I like Cave Run Lake because the setting is so beautiful, and the surroundings so relaxing.
