Aubrey's Baby Shower

Over Christmas break we had a baby shower for Aubrey, it was the perfect time for us since Molly and Christina were in town, but unfortunately Aubrey's friend Lizzy could not make it due to sick kids. Considering all the bugs and busy time of year, Aubrey and I really appreciate everyone who was able to come and celebrate baby Garrido!

Merinda and I were in charge with much input from Aubrey. Meri made and posted the announcement, Aubrey chose the food she wanted (chips & queso, fruit & dip, cookies, juice), Merinda made the Kahoot baby name game, and Aubrey came up with the idea to decorate onesies. Aubrey also wanted a diaper raffle which McKenzie R. won.

Last, but not least, was opening of the baby gifts. Baby Gariddo got so many wonderful gifts at the Shower, Aubrey and I can't thank you all enough for your thoughtfulness, we are also very grateful to those who have bought things via the registry! Aubrey's fellow teacher's Tracy and Jackie have truly had her back this pregnancy, and I personally want to thank them for being so caring and for their wonderful gifts: travel bed, diaper backpack, super adorable hand-made and monogrammed baby blankets with matching outfits (and probably more I can't remember). We also appreciate the gifts Raul's family and friends gave while Aubrey was in Chile this summer!
