After our Saxer Lucke hike we were very cold and hungry so we decided since we were so close to Austria, we would just have dinner there! Our short drive in and out of Austria was very lovely, and even though we only spent an evening there, it left a lasting impression!

We ate dinner at one of the first restaurants we stumbled upon called Noflerstuba.

Even though it was an Italian restaurant, and not Austrian—our waitress informed us that the Italian food was excellent, and much cheaper and better than the local quisine. She was right, it did not disappoint! The food came out piping hot, warming up our chilled hiking souls, and my Carbonara with homemade noodles was very good!
