Venice

After checking out of our Corona AirB&B, we drove to Venice, said goodbye to each other, and parted ways!

At the last minuet, Brad and I decided to spend the afternoon and evening in Venice. Even though we have been there before, I wanted to visit St. Marks Square, the Rialto Bridge, and get some good gelato, just one last time!

As luck would have it, we bumped into Blake and Josie near the bridge—they took all of the above pictures of us! (What a fun surprise!)

We then said another goodbye, knowing that we would meet again in the Venice airport, since we would be taking the same flight home!

I'm glad we stayed until the evening because the sunset was gorgeous!

Instead of getting something to eat there, we decided to head back to the Venice Best Western, where we would be staying the night. After dropping off our backpacks, we walked a short distance to the restaurant we ate at our first night in Venice, after meeting up with Blake and Josie. I just had to take a picture of my meal because it was so good! I know it looks like your standard Italian pizza meal, but it tasted like so much more! I don't know why food ANYWHERE outside of the U.S. is so much fresher and better…something is seriously wrong with the quality our food!
