Manwaring Girls Nashville Adventure

We joined Brad’s sisters for a Saturday of the girl's getaway in Nashville (they were spending a week). I didn’t feel too guilty about crashing their plans since opportunities to see them—especially when they're all together—don’t come around often. After they went to the Nashville Temple, we met up for breakfast in Franklin, TN, with family friend's Les and Debbie Wright. We spent the morning shopping at antique shops downtown and then hung out with them at their Airbnb, catching up. That evening, we planned to have dinner at Opry Mills Mall and see a show at the Grand Ole Opry, but the police closed the entire Mall due to a domestic dispute in Chile's. We switched gears, grabbing dinner at Cracker Barrel and navigating police detours for different parking. Despite the Mall craziness, we had a great time visiting, and we're just relieved the show, still went on!

They had great entertainers from new singers to old singers (I mean literally, one guy was 88 years old), a really funny comedian, and Vince Gill for the finale. It was a great show!! Afterwards, we said a sad goodbye to the girls and headed home.

The girls had a great time the remainder of their trip going on tours, visiting museums, making their own GooGoo Clusters, and getting tattoos!🫢😉 We were glad to be able to see them, if only for a day!
