We took a quick trip to Utah in April to celebrate Easter and spend time with family. It was such a fun visit! We loved spending time with Mom, catching up with my sisters, and enjoying an Easter get-together with our extended family at my brother Matt’s house. We also got to spend some quality time with Brittney and her family. It was wonderful having everyone together and making special memories. Hopefully, we can make it an Easter tradition and do it all again next year!Easter pot-luck dinner with extended family, at Matt's houseVisiting in Matt's backyardEaster egg hunt in foothills behind Matt's house

The next day, Mom and us girls got together for lunch at her house, took pictues around her property, and visited Dad's gravesite.
Brad and I also took Mom to dinner and out for ice cream at Handel's!Another reason April was such a good tome to visit is because it was the Lindon Temple openhouse. I was especially interested in going because I grew up there, and the temple was built in my own stomping gournds!Matt and Brei, and their two boys Tyson and Brock, were kind enough to save us a place in the very long line. The Temple was gorgeous, but I couldn't help but feel like we were cattle being herded through at a very fast pace! After the openhouse we enjoyed dinner at one of our favorite hamburger places “Chubby's”—which incidentally, Brei brother owns!
