For Spring Break this year, we had a mini Manwaring family reunion in Gulf Shores, Alabama! It was a beach destination Brad and I had been wanting to visit for years, so we were excited when his sisters—Vicki and her husband, Scott, Becky, and Beth—were ready for a vacation too. We all spent the week together enjoying some much-needed sunshine, beach time, and family fun!

Our AirB&B on Gulf Shores Beach was pretty spectacular!We had a huge balcony with sweeping views of the ocean! As part of our Gulf Shores trip, we just had to make a stop in Louisiana! It was the final state Brad needed to visit to complete his goal of seeing all 50 states. We had also always wanted to explore New Orleans after hearing so much about its unique charm, rich culture, and lively atmosphere. Our first stop in Louisiana was a swamp tour, where we got to experience the beautiful bayou and see some of its fascinating wildlife. From there, we headed to New Orleans, where we indulged in the incredible food—especially the beignets piled high with powdered sugar and dipped in hot chocolate! It was such a fun and memorable experience, made even more special by sharing it with Brad and his family!
